Anna trained in Theatre Design at Wimbledon School of Art and with the National Youth Theatre of Wales, before co-founding True/Fiction Theatre in 2003.
 
Designs for True/Fiction include: The Exquisite Corpse, Mr. Theatre Comes Home Different, Intermission, Lady Grey (in ever-lower light), Friction, Bash and Riddance.
 
Other designs for theatre include: Ours and The Zoo (Finborough Theatre), Over The Edge and Tales of Mystery & Madness (Bristol Old Vic), The Container (Creative Partnerships), A Chorus of Disapproval (Guildhall School of Music & Drama), Cruising (Bush/Recorded Delivery), Showstopper (Theatre Royal, Bury St. Edmunds), Splendour (Cobden Club), The Merchant of Venice (Orange Tree Theatre), Amy Evans' Strike (Courtyard @ Covent Garden), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Young Vic: Love Shorts), The Morals of Modern Day Myths (Sherman Theatre, Cardiff), The Soldier (RADA and Edinburgh), Buzz (Sgript Cymru), Jacob Jacobson (Bloomsbury Theatre), Monster (Royal Opera House/Escape Artists). As assistant designer: Baba Yaga (Mervyn Millar/BAC), The Marriage of Figaro and Orpheus In The Underworld (British Youth Opera).

In addition she has worked extensively on text development and dramaturgy, both for True/Fiction Theatre, and for projects at Young Vic, BAC and on a freelance basis.
