Riddance was first performed by True/Fiction at The Space, London in April 2003.

Kenny is a Hoover salesman obsessed with the riddance of dust and dirt. Clare got rid of her baby in her teenage years. Frank wants to rid himself of the shadow of his violent, alcoholic father. An accidental reunion between 3 childhood friends, prompts a journey of dark secrets and missed opportunities, arriving at an accidental murder. A taut, spare drama about the way childhood trauma continues to haunt adult life, and the good and bad within us all. If you never get caught...you're always in hiding...and the day of riddance is inevitable.

Dagmar Doring Clare

Dagmar studied at University College Dublin before training at LAMDA, graduating in 2002. Roles in training include: Mary Warren in The Crucible, Olga in Summerfolk, Irina in The Three Sisters and Queen Elizabeth in King Richard III.
Other theatre includes Josie in The Trap (White Bear), Roberta in Jack or The Submission (Spellbound TC), Jo in Low Level Panic (Spellbound TC), Thea Elvsted in Hedda Gabler and Claire in Riddance.
Film/TV work includes various commercials, Sandra in The Beginning (NFTS) and Mary Cole in The Man Who Saved Children (RDF Media).










Colin Hardy Frank

Colin Hardy graduated from the 3 year acting course at LAMDA in 2002.

At LAMDA roles included Herr Gabor in Spring Awakening, Sir Walter Raleigh in The School of Night, Thomas Putnam in The Crucible, Pontius Pilate in The Master and Margarita, Polonius in Hamlet and Agamemnon in Agamemnon.
Since graduating he has appeared as John Messenger in Messenger (Edinburgh Fringe Festival), Banquo in Macbeth (Pentameters Theatre), A in Samuel Beckett's Rough for Theatre II, Marcellus, Gravedigger and Osric in Hamlet (Natural Perspectives) and Johnny in I Spider (NFTS).

Chris Evans Operator 
Chris trained at RADA on the Technical and Stage Management Course, graduating in 2003.
Credits whilst in training included Pillars of Society (Technical Manager, Venbrugh Theatre), The Tree (Sound Operator), The Caucasian Chalk Circle (Sound Operator, Vanbrugh Theatre), Lovers (ASM, Gielguid Theatre), Prize Fights (DSM, Vanbrugh Theatre), Mojo (Production LX, Gielguid Theatre), The Crucible (Stage Manager, Vanbrugh Theatre), The Rimers of Eldritch (Set Construction/LX Crew/LX Board Operator), Guys & Dolls (Wardrobe Assistant and Dresser), Napolio Milionaria (Scenic Painting, GBS Theatre), The Beau Defeated (Set Construction/LX Crew/Follow Spot Operator, GBS Theatre). He spent his secondment working for Unusual Rigging.

Mark Howland Lighting Designer
Trained at RADA. Previous lighting designs include Electra (St.John's College), Fiddler on the Roof (Gulbenkian Theatre), The Tempest, Entertaining Strangers, The Crucible and Roberto Zucco (all at RADA), The Magic Flute, Yeoman of the Guard and Orpheus in the Underworld (all at the Nuffield Theatre), Virginia Plain (White Bear Theatre), Riddance (The Space), Ash (Cobden Club), Pippi Longstockings (Jackson's Lane Theatre), F***list Celebrity (Finborough Theatre and Etcetera Theatre) and Problem Child (New End Theatre). Mark has also worked as Assistant LD to Bruno Poet on The Marriage of Figaro and Orpheus in the Underworld with British Youth Opera and Midnight's Children at the Barbican. He has also spent some time at the Royal Court with Rick Fisher, lighting A Number.

Jon Mullinex Operator
Jon graduated from the Stage Management and Technical Theatre Course at LAMDA in 2002.
Since leaving drama school he has worked consistently in the West-End, and on the London fringe.

Julia Slienger Sound Designer  
Julia graduated from the Stage Management and Technical Theatre course at LAMDA in 2003, and has worked closely with Richard Alston Dance Company. She also works as a freelancer at various theatres in London. Prior to LAMDA, Julia worked as the Sound Assistant on Jeffrey Bernard is Unwell at the Old Vic Theatre. She also worked on a number of show's at Upstairs at the Gatehouse inluding From a Jack to a King, The Good Doctor, It's Only Make Believe, The Secret Arch, Julius Caesar, Slice of Saturday Night, Duck Variations and Squirrels. Other credits include Macbeth (Lost Youth Theatre Company, dir. Hannah Eidinow).
